Ouch.

I drove 40 miles yesterday to get some trim pieces for my X. The guy told me the interior was intact. This is the car I found.





Sad thing is, whoever got in that wreck had just bought it, the dealer AS-IS sticker was in the back seat, and the keys still had their inventory tag.

Ohhh noooo thts tooo bad.... can't even keep looking at it, I hope the guy is OK. Maybe its after SVX, subaru realized that they need to increase the safety in the dangerous crumble zones (over head) and started installing highly rigid beams which are considered very hard to cut in accidents by the fire fighters... hmm.. poor svx....

It doesn't look like anyone has taken anything anything out of the interior.

They said that it was intact, but not altered a little bit.

Man, that's sickening... and I don't mean because it's an SVX. That was a vicious hit and I suspect the driver was critically injured, or worse.

Actually, I've got the feeling that the guy made it out okay. No way to know for sure of course, I'm no expert, but the cabin was surprisingly intact. I just hope no one was sitting behind the drivers seat, there is no way anyone sitting behind him could have survived, the drivers side back seat cushion was folded over on itself several times.

I would love to know the story. There's no telling how far the driver door was pushed in. Hopefully there was no one in it at the time of the accident, i cannot imagine how they would have fared. Hopefully though the car will stand up a bit better in a "normal" accident, else i might be in trouble...

That's awful!!! You should have got the VIN at least so you could at it the SVX registration page...maybe if you call the guy he will give it to you...

Ive seen some ****ed up cars before...but I cant even tell you what hit this one. All I know is the driver had to be severly injured. I mean, looks like the brunt of the impact was the lower drivers door, and hell, the steerin wheel is even bent, resumably from smashing into the celing
