Problems!!!

I am having a couple problems with my car, of course.

#1 When I removed my kick panel to start wiring for my remote mount battery, I noticed some connectors (3 or 4) disconnected down there and was wondering why?

#2 I just developed a weird noise. It sounds like a flat tire sound from the rear, and is speed, not RPM dependent. It only happens above 45mph or so, and is causing the rear to vibrate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pictures of problem 1 soon, I'm in class now....

#1 is diagnostic connecters, normal

#2 I recommend checking your tire pressures if you're car is AWD. The wheels have to be very close in diameter and if one is low on air/worn unevenly it can throw the whole system off

Those arent supposed to be plugged into anything. They are used for the onboard Diagnostics. Those 2 blue wires that you will also find down there are inserted into the different slots on those connectors to read trouble codes. Do not worry about them, they are all supposed to be like that.
In terms of the noise coming from the rear tires, it sounds like the wheel bearings, a very common problem on SVX's. Do a search for rear wheel bearings, and you will find tons of information.

it may be that, but i doubt it, i've been thinking it may just be a lug nut. I took it to Precision Tune (I was bored, and the brake inspection was free) and I think they didn't tighten the lugs correctly. Hell, it took them 20 minutes to get them off...... oh well.

ha!!! you were all wrong. I knew the idiots at Precision Tune didn't tighten the lugs tightly. So, I was in the parking lot trying to find a socket that fit and was getting harassed by campus security, oh well
