Security "clicker"
My security clicker and my keys to the SVX were ganked by someone at a party last night and no one can find them at all. We've looked everywhere and they're just missing. I'm not too concerned about it, I just want another clicker since we can't find this one.
My friend has a clicker from a 95 SVX. I was wondering if the clicker is compatable with the system on a 92 SVX. Thanks.

It should be
I am currently using a key fob from a 95 on my 93 and it works fine. It doesn't have the same reach that my original does but it works just fine. You will just have to go in and reprogram your car to accept the new key fob signal. I would suggest that you clear out the old one if its not found. It can store up to 3 in its memory. If you do a search here on the club you should be able to find the instructions on how to reprogram it. It only takes about 5 minutes to do.
~ray PS.. in order to clear out the code of your old key fob you will have to put the code for the new one in all 3 memory slots, otherwise it will just add this new one to the list. Put it in 3 times and it should overwrite the old code.

All you would need to do is get a "clicker" and program it and it should work. Not all of the cars had the security system in them.
If you can't find the directions for the programing, let me know and I can give you a link to them.
