The techs at the shop ended up designing their own mount and they didnt use smallcar's design. They thought it could be done more efficiantly. I havent seen under the car since they finished the mount. I'll check tomorrow.

Is the swap complete and the car back on the road? If so, how is it working out? Any issues? I'm curious about the ride height. Did it change much after the 5MT swap?

The car is back and working well. I've logged about 2000 miles on the 5 speed to date. I noticed NO CHANGE in ride height. I am using the K&B springs.

Good to hear it is working well! What did they do different than the Smallcar setup?

I can't wait until I can afford to swap mine... been practicing on a '93 Impreza L 5-speed... gettin' ready.

i havent heard from the shop since i dropped it off which is a good sign that they haven't had any problems
