Kevin,

I remember the Liberty State Park Meet well. I have a photo of Rosie & the SVX with the WTC in the background.

I'm glad that your friend Jay is alright.

I look today in 3.00 pm (Switzerland time) with my wife TV, when they brake the programm. In Switzerland everybody is shocked about this what happened. We are too with the people there and pray for them.

I don't understand, how people can do something like this, no country can't accept this. I hope, they will find this terroriste and punish them with all hardness.

I just talked to my brother, Chris. He said they were still in the office until the Pentagon was hit, and then they all got sent home.

I was glad to hear he was just at home, watching the news, as are the rest of us.

Markus, thank you for your prayers. Continue to pray for our nation. We have a tough time ahead. The word "War" is being tossed around a lot. That is not a word we like to hear.

As soon as I saw the 2nd plane hit the WTC, I knew that life, as we have become accustomed to living in this society, has changed & will now take a direction unprecedented since Pearl Harbor. I am numb as I write this. I am not a religious person in the traditional sense, but I thank God that so far all the reports from our SVX community menbers have been merciful towards our friends & loved ones. Nonetheless, the thousands of other lives that will be eternally effected by today's infamy should be in our collective thoughts. This country now has a common goal, retaliation, which unfortunately will lead to thousands if not millions of more deaths.
How insignificant the effects of squeaky bearing have become in the grand scheme of things now unfolding. Has anyone noticed today's date? - 911. Ron.

As much of a horror and absolute travesty Pearl Harbor was, at least, it was an attack on a Military Installation. No, that doesn't justify it, but, still it was much more "honorable" than this insanity. Granted, there are most usually "innocents" who become casualties of war, however, they should not be the initial targets. Especially in this age of "surgical precision combat."

The targeting of "innocents" should be dealt with swiftly and decisively, whether it be from domestic or foreign terrorists. It is the MOST cowardly form of retribution.

I agree, i feel that the general populace does not understand the weight of what they say. This is going to have a drastic affect on our world as we know it for quite some time, the full affects non of us can comprehend at this moment. I just pray that we, as a people, can overcome this without ourselves becoming terrorists to the innocent in the process of avenging our loss. I pray for us all.

The American Red Cross is asking all who are able to donate blood and platelets ASAP. Please call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE to ask where to go to donate.

Thanks.

What concerns me, and I don't not want to start any bad feelings to our overseas friends, but I was reading thru MSN's news on world leaders reactions, There are notes on nearly every country in the western world, and mideast, why isn't the anything from the far east? Though it is midnight-wee hours of morning there. You'd think the leaders there would be contacted and have their responses

Try CNN's coverage. Responses from several Asian countries, including Japan and China, are covered there.
