Lousy Mileage

Other than a tune-up, overinflating the tires and keeping it in "D" instead of "3", is there ANYTHING I can do to increase my mileage. I'm getting around 12-14 MPG, and with gas at $2.00/gal (and rising), this is bewcoming a real expense.

I know in the city you have a lot of stop and go traffic (I've been there) and there's not much you can do about it. Maybe you can add some good fuel injector cleaner to your next full tank of gas let it circulate a bit, then.... (here come the fun part) get on the highway and floor it! Just enough to get rid of some of that gunk build-up that causes poor gas mileage especially in the SVX. Also I know gas is expensive at this time, but try to use the recommended higher octane fuels as much as possible.
