Talking Black ice video

http://www.wkrn.com/global/video/pop...rentPosition=0

This was a video feed from a news company in nashville. It's pretty entertaining, it kinda sounded like a few guys just hanging around for laughs. Enjoy! (no svxes in the video). If it doesnt buffer just keep hitting refresh and it will eventually buffer.

You can definitely tell who was going 'too fast for conditions' and who was not.

I feel bad for the driver of that Cherokee. He/she stopped that car straight and in time - way better than most people could. And only to be rammed from behind by the guy in the Avalon...

Unhappy Wow

That would REALLY suck. Doesn't look too much like there should be black ice... just like it is around freezing and kinda wet. I like how the guy video taping just laughs when the new BMW gashed its rear quarter panel on the highway-helper kind of vehicle. Surprised that nobody got plowed into after stepping out of their car... good thing, though.

A few observations...

Aside from the fact that many were going too fast for conditions, even after there was obviously trouble just ahead of them.

Why the heck are people getting out of their vehicles as 4000lb objects continue to slide recklessly around them in all directions?

It is kinda ironic how the Beemer hits the highway safety truck of all things.

And why is the flashing arrow on the safety truck pointing to the right?

Hi Nick, How could you have missed my post about how your wife "tagged" me at the Home Depot on Carpinter Rd. the week before the 10th anniversary meet. BTW I started posting back in September of 2002. BOBB
