Talking She's Back on the Road!

Yay! She's back! The problem I had with my power-steering hose before was that the Subaru service department didn't tighten it well enough and it popped loose. So, I retightened it and she's back on the road. Here are the first pics I've ever taken of my SVX-

You have a really beautiful SVX. You should send the photos to Lwin for use in his SVX Calendar.

I agree with Larry III

it really is beautiful...while I own an ebony mica version, the silver is my favorite - just a touch jealous.

do you have to have the front plate holder? would it leave ugly holes if you removed it? I'm very happy FLA doesn't require one and the car has never been out of state (registration wise).

You've got a great looking car! I was kind of expecting to see tractor-lug tires on it, seeing how you're in Monument...

Ooh--cheap shot!! Monument really isn't full of hicks-- at least in the part I live in And Louisville?

Thank you though-- I love my SVX.

Larry-- This weekend I am taking it to somewhere more scenic than my front yard to get some pics to Lwin. He has already seen these though

Hmm- Without the plates, I think there are a few holes, but nothing noticeable-- when I go up this weekend, I will take some without the covers.

Hi SVXnCO! Your car is beautiful! The silver has always been my favorite! Too bad the Great State of Colorado requires us to have a front plate!

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Oops, here's another spot where the semantics will get ya killed. I was referring to Monument's propensity to collect a lot of the white stuff on the ground. I lived in CO 14-15 years and know that when the snow flies on the front range it usually starts piling up in Monument first.

Welcome! It's great to have another member in Colorado. And for those of you who don't already know, we have a current member who has relocated himself to western Colorado. At least now I know 1 of the local SVXers in Grand Junction (Zeppelin)!!!
We really need to organize a Colorado meet somewhere in the middle.

Liquid Silver would have been my choice had I bought my car brand new in '92. As it is, my color is my favorite and very very rare (although after the 10th meet, I'm not so sure anymore). Check it out in my locker, in the Penny folder.
