Talking Nice offer from insurance!

The insurance company finally has decided on a more than fair settlement. $5166.50 and I get to keep the car. Not bad for a car with 211000 miles. All I need to do is find the right SVX now. I am hoping to pick one up at teh Reading meet. I am sooo excited!!

Insurance settlement

Sounds like you made out fine in the end. Hope you didn't get too many grey hairs from the precess . I'll keep my eye open at Manheim Auto Auction for a while if you'd like. Nice thing about getting a car from a dealer who's selling here is that usually you can get it before they do their "dealer clean-up and prep" so you get it a little above wholesale price. Any specifics you want me to look for? Year, color, trim package???

Actually it wasn't tooo bad. Thanks for looking out for me but I think I am going to take a break until Spring. Not in a rush as 8 points are not cheap on insurance. I want to find one cheap enough to do a 5 speed to or have one already converted. I know I am greedy and asking a lot, but I am patient.

Thanks Ben and Mr. Pockets

Larry
