Do I have the only FWD SVX?

I would be interested to know if my car is the only FWD on the Network. Because my car is FWD I believe it makes my car even rarer. If I am not mistaken 94' was the only year the FWD option was even offered. I am pretty sure that my car is the only lowered FWD SVX!

Me too

I too have a FWD SVX.

Front wheel drive was only offered on the SVX in 1994 and 1995 and came on the L and LS models (not the top-of-the-line LSi). With dismal sales in 1992 and 1993, it was an idea Subaru had to lower the price of the SVX. Then in 1996 Subaru adopted an "all our cars are AWD" policy and so FWD was no longer available.

Some believe that the transmissions on the FWD models will last longer because less stress is being put on the transmissions.

I hope so too. I am crossing my fingers.

FWD SVX

Mine is a 94 FWD LS and it is Black not Red. See there are more than just the red ones.

I am at 56,000 miles. Lost tranny at 45,000 still under Suby warranty.

I also have Dual exhaust (2 inch pipe all the way back) thru 2 magnaflo mufflers. Just recently I changed them out. I was tired of waking the cops up 5 blocks away when stomping on it. I went to a much quieter generic mufflers.

I am 200% satisfied with the results. You can still here it when you romp on it, but it is about 50% quiter than the magnaflo's.

Dual exhaust 94 FWD SVX's are fast as sh%$^&*!!!

I have been reading up on the lowering. That is awesome. I might have to do that in the future.

cya

Talking welcome to the SVX FWD club!

yes you are right the fwd's are fast as hell. my car hauls ass. i need to take it to the strip to see if my quarter mile times will be better with all the modifications i have made. my magnaflows are really not that loud? i wonder if you had some that were different from mine. mine were designed for imports.
