For you guys with lower MPG, trying changing your diff fluid to synthetic. I did that along with chaning my ATF to synthetic ATF, and recieved 27mpg. I previously recieved about the same mileage as you quoted, 19-23, no matter what.

Hmm, synthetic in the diffs. Never thought of that. 27mpg would be nice as I just got 18.4mpg at last fillup. Thats mostly city driving (no tc lock) with a light foot. I think a Stage I chip would help too.

Then again, I live in a hilly area and I use the AC during the day most of the time.

I think I'll switch the tranny fluid and diff fluid to synthetic next time I get the fulides changed.

re:mileage

Getting a consistent 21-22 city. 27-30 highway @70mph.
Intresting variences on this, wonder if brand of gas makes any dif, ex. Chevron vs. Shell vs. 7-Eleven?

92 Pearlie 146k still the funiest ride around.

Or gas octane too, I heard using higher octane then your supposed to means gas mileage gets worse. I donno if its true though. Where I live 93 is the only Premium that is avalable. 91 is non-existant.

My overall average which includes lots of winter driving is 24mpg which is about 20mpg (US). I do believe it's slowly going up thanks to the transmission. Overall high was 35mpg (29mpg US).

I'm getting 20-21 on LA traffic freeway. I drive 300 mi per week mostly for commuting to work place, meaning I usually fill up every week. Today I fill up the gas, and it was 20.4mpg. Not really happy with it. But considering that horrible traffic, stop and go, maybe this is good mpg.

I sometimes think about good gas mileage car, but nothing makes me feel better than driving my SVX.
