After Ford's fiasco with the Pinto, I dunno how I'd feel about their HYDROGEN car.

Thumbs up

Ron can drive the 'Box-O-Vinomobile'.

Yes. After perusing these posts, my first thought was, "What's in it for me"? I mean if we can go the moon, & turn lead into gold through better alchemy, why can't Zinfandel flow from my exhaust tips?

Damn, Wouldn't that have been nice to see in the SVX Brochure...

I believe they showed that car in 2001 or 2002.

It's a shame, since it's so simple to make the car run on water, that they didn't just take that extra step. I'm sure it was pressure from the oil companies.

I mean, come on, everybody knows that water in its primal form is a mirror for human consciousness, and will take whatever form the dreamer perceives. So all we have to do is think 'hydrogen' really hard and the whole thing will work.

OK Pockets, hands in the air and back away from the keyboard. The nice men in the white jackets will be with you shortly...

They'll never find me. I'm in a constant meditative state and concealed in the secret place in my heart.

Also I perceive my water to be invisible, so you can't see me.

There was a farmer converted all of his vehicles to run on hydrogen (trackters trucks), but he died a while back. He would use a windmill to generate electricity to split hydrogen and oxegen.

BMW has also converted a 5 series and a Mini to run on hydrogen.

I remember seeing a concept that claimed it was a mockup for a 'nuclear-powered car,' but at the time nuclear power was hip sci-fi. I don't know which manufacturer made the concept, but that's all it was - a dream. I don't know that any of the manufacturers actually ever 'planned' such a vehicle.

I believe that Ron is secretly working on "Box-O-Cold-Fusion to power his old Caravan. The unit emits theta particles(waves) which requires heavy lead shielding between it and the passengers. On the plus side, the theta waves interfere with police radar.
