I hope the bastard owners get boycotted by their regular customers after all this is over...

They should be the ones underneath the WTC right now...

But those of us fortunate enough to live in Milwaukee and Chicago get a 'special' brand of RFG that costs more than the RFG that other areas need to use.

The **** at the gas station yesterday was unnerving though. I managed to completely fill my tank before people even started raising prices or going nuts and getting in line to fill. We took my GF's car out later in the day and the station was a mess. A station down the street had a newscrew at it since they raised their price to over 4/gal.

Well, it's still $1.47 for premium in Sinking Springs(Berks County ,PA) so I topped off the bike tonight.
I filled up again today (although I only needed a half tank), just to see what prices had done, and to avoid possible lines this afternoon. The price had gone from the 1.62 on Monday, to 1.85. This is still rediculous in light of the fact that the major oil companies have publically stated that there is and will be no gasoline shortage due to this tragedy. It sickens me to see people trying to take advantage of a tragedy to line their own pockets.

These people need to be fined and fined strongly -- I'd say "beyond the amount of profits they'd make on their selfishness" would be more than fair.

The governor made a statement saying that the places doing price gouging WILL find that they will be fined for it, and will most likely bring legislation in congress to prevent it from ever happening again.

There is no gas shortage, but with the rush to the pumps, people are creating a shortage because there is no way that the tanker trucks can refill the tanks fast enough. There were a few gas stations in town that closed early either byecause of having no gas left in the tanks, or just tired of PEOLPLE WAITING IN THE STREETS TO GET TO THE STATIONS. Every station I drove past on the way home (some 10-15) had traffic stopped in the streets due to people waiting to get in!!!!!

It's sickening

It makes me truly sickened and disgusted that there are those who will take advantage of a situation like this to screw people for their own profit. Or at any time, for that matter.
