Question A lot a like?

It could just be my eyes but this seat http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33701 looks a lot like the one in this http://www.subarusvx.com/images/carp...nterior022.jpg
Photo.

Does any one know what this photo was from? Is it just a costumed SVX or did they come like this some place?

Those aren't stock seats and never came on an SVX from the factory that way. It's possible that both the eBay seat and those in the SVX in your photo were both made by Recaro, but who knows?

Did you notice that there are pretty major differences between the two seats in the SVX? They're upholstered in different patterns. I wonder why that is - if they're different models of seats or were just produced at different times...

Yup

Yeah I did, They look nice in an SVX. I would really like to see what the Recaro - Sport seat would look like in one.

Or the n-joy.

What is the head rest all about? Every time I look at it, it look clear

- New Post -

I think it's only stitched down before and after the "SVX" not really different in seat shape. I do know Recaro puts what ever you want on your seat so it may have been just asked for.

They are probably upholstered differently because the driver seat has that lever that stiffens and loosens the back support thing... dont know how else to describe that thing.. but thats the only conclusion i could come to.

I used to own a 1983 Recaro Trans Am, (the Datona Pace Car that year), and the Recaro seats in it were covered in light grey Suede that would probably match the Fake suede on in the SVX LSi/Tour interior....of course finding a set in good condition would be VERY difficult.

The two seats in the SVX pictured are different. The drivers seat is a Recaro. The passenger side could be stock. They were both apolstered to match but you can see they are different by the panels in the seats. Probably cheaper to buy just the one Recaro and apolster both to match.

I'd like to know what the switch panel on the right of the console is for.

I disagree,
They're both Recaro seats, but the driver's seat (far seat/it's a right hand Drive) has the lumbar support and the passenger(near seat) doesn't, but they're both Recaro seats.

I agree with your disagreement. Neither of those are stock SVX seats.
