I was visiting my folks in Colorado one year and a hail storm left 3" of hail stones on the ground- it looked like snow!! My wife and I got caught while driving her Pinto wagon and couldn't make it to the highway underpass in time. It sounded like a bunch of ball peen hammers on the top of the car. We had to yell to converse.

Nah, it doesn't hail in Colorado..........
