the Stebro has a nice sound, but it doesn't sound like a Ferrarri or a Porsche or anything. more of a hollow throaty sound - a little different than i expected. has a nice howl when at WOT. i may have been spoiled by the exhaust note of my 928 - a V8 symphony exiting through 3" pipe and out a 5" megaphone - no mufflers at all! the sweetest combination of rasp and rumble.

i didn't buy the Stebro for the sound, though. i bought it because it is stainless steel, it is lighter than the factory exhaust, and has a hp increase. i like the tips - looks like they mean more business than the skinny factory ones.

Spring Buy

Since the majority of you guys will be ready to purchase it in the spring, I will arrange something at that time. I'd prefer if all of these were bought at the same time, since it saves me the trouble of talking to them each time someone else wants one I'll give them a list of the names of the people from the forum, and they will adjust the price accordingly.

Thanks again

Any Idea if you will be setting up the buy for April or May? My Vehicle inspection is due in June & I know I won't pass with out exhaust work.

Talking

Ok, So I see that we have "3" Confirmed orders so far, (within the last few days..), is there anyone else????????

BTW, a friend of mine has a stebro exhaust on his ferrari, and the workmanship is far superior than what I've seen. And, it sounds sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! (The fact that it's a ferrari might have something to do with it...)

One more thing, would anyone want to purchase my used 96 SVX exhaust with only 23,000 miles on it??? It's in nice shape... Just thought I'd ask around..

Stebro

I am in too. Got the money, just waiting for the details.

Last time I emailed Ticallion he said he was compiling a list of names. Don't know how many want in on the group buy, but I bet it's more than 3. He said the order would be around Feb. or April.

How about starting an on-going list with names kind of like the Reading Meet thread? Might help.

I'll start it. Just copy and reply.

THANK YOU! I need a more organized list of names. People have cancelled orders/changed their minds, and it's getting to be a little silly. We need a master copy of all the names please this is a really good idea.

I'll start organizing this stuff so that we can start the transactions mid-march as per the majority of the requests.

If I have any extra money around March or April, I will definately be interested. My SVX has a hole in the exhaust from one of the massive redneck speedbumps here in northern MN. So hopefully my engine replacement in the near future doesn't have many hangups so I can afford the exhaust. As for your list, I'm not sure yet, will let you know asap.
