http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SVX-B...QQcmdZViewItem

If you really think your doing the 1/4 mile in 13.7, You need to get your head checked.

I gotta get me some of those dual spray injectors.

It's obvious the seller has dual brain cells (and no more than that). Just about the only thing he got right was the name of the car [Edit: wait, just noticed he got that wrong too!]. I suppose he is also right about not being two tone, but I could argue the other way as well. Since the "two-tone" is the black roof, and this car does indeed have a black roof, it still is a two tone they just both happen to be black.

Yeah, I thought it was so retarded I just had to post it here for everyone else to laugh at too. He sounds like a stupid kid that makes up stories to impress people about his car. LAME.

i would buy it for the rims they seem nice... to bad he doesnt say what type of pirelli tires is has... i could be Neros (one of the best tires out there) or P6's (CRAP)

just noticed this:
"THE A/C WORKS GREAT BUT JUST RECENTLY JUST STOP COMING OUT OF THE FRONT VENTS"

so really the A/C is not working at all...

Trying to be +ve, the two things I like about that car are: 1) Ebony exterior 2) Factory suede seats

That's it.

I can't believe homeboy is selling his pimp ride!

He needs to add 2 seconds to that 13.7 1/4 mile time....maybe even 3 since he has those bling-bling wheels on there.

It's quite possible that the seller is a lurker here.

What a great way to welcome him to the forum.

he has a little information on his car, and is exaggerating a little to make it sound better. He just doesn't have a good handle on what he is talking about. He seems to be somewhat honest about it though. The car doesn't look terrible, and you get the stock wheels with it.

Easy fix here. I like the lack of sunroof. If I bought a new one, I wouldn't get it loaded . Getting an LSL was cool when I wanted a cool luxury coupe, but now I don't want all the stuff.... and the sunroof is a hard one to ditch.

I understand the humor in the disparities between his auction description and what we know as fact for the SVX. However, I find this sort of criticism of every ****ing ebay auction where someone has a little mixup just a little ****ing self-righteous.

I mean who do you think you are? This is probably just some kid trying to scrape up money for an SRT4 or something. Give him a break! The reason I don't post so often on this forum, or post ANY of the SVXs I sell on ebay here, is because I would get offensive cheap shots about the car, low ball offers, and blatent parentalesque *****ing that my price is too high.

Did anyone email this guy via ebay and try to educate him on the car? Or will he stuble upon this thread and end up hating us and feeling a bit ****ty himself...

My point being with all of this, is that some people on this forum need to get off their high horse, be a bit more friendly and welcoming to new owners, and assist those who lack the knowledge of the vehicle, instead of picking them apart for their mistakes and making them feel unwelcome.

i wouldn't be spouting off about BS 1/4 mile times and technical stuff (dual spray inject0rz) if i didn't have a clue.
i might also clean the frickin' car for some photos if i was selling it. if he can't be bothered to clean his car for auction photos, you can be damn sure the dude NEVER cleaned the car.

**** e-mailing and educating him - i'm not a teacher.

i will agree with you that SVX'ers, for the most part, are cheap bastards.

I believe the SVX injectors are actually dual spray. That spoiler is also a common dealer-installed option. I've seen it on a few other SVXs.
