I am going to be scheduling a date for the timing belt, water pump, and spark plugs that I am providing to be done at my local subaru dealer...how much should this run me about?
thanks in advance

Parts for mine ran about $400 and labor was about $550. Ouch. That's from a pretty pricey dealer though, so yours may be less. I've seen people get it done for in the $700 range I think?

those are not major SVX-specific (i.e. tranny) repairs, If you're not able to do them yourself I'd take them to a respectable shop other than a dealer, that alone could save you 50% on labor

BTW:

Labol @ the Suby dealer here is $80/hr, a good shop i've gone to has been $50/hr

So if the rapairs by the book (no matter how long it actually takes) total 5 hours, you'd save $150.
