Talking five speed gear box update

after two years sitting in the garage i finally put my car back together and rolled it out of the garage. the 5 speed wrx gear box is fitted and all that i need to do is just work out the wiring and i'll be back in the drivers seat again after two long years without being able to drive her. i can't wait to see how she feels as a 5 speed

the cost for all the parts was $3,500 including new wrx clutch kit, i got one with the gear box but thought a new one ought to go in instead of the old one. the breakdown of costs are $2,000 for 5 speed box, pedal box, master cylinder, slave cylinder, hydraulic lines, flywheel, complete clutch, gear linkages, anything attached or to do with the wrx gear box basically (my01 is best). $700 to have the drive shaft lenghtened also replacing the uni joints with replaceable holden commodore uni joints (the svx is a throw away the drive shaft and buy a new one job, no good when you need to modify them every time). $500 for wrx clutch kit and the rest on stuff. if i can find a my05 sti onwards box and calipers then i'll be upgrading to that, i just sold my my05 sti and i really liked the feel of the six speed box in that, the dccd had a similar feeling to the torque distribution of our auto svx's but better.
