What size AC belt?

Does anyone know the proper size for the AC belt? I bought one at the NAPA store and it seems to be too short. I can probably get it on, but it will be very tight, even with the tension pulley fully released.

The one they sold me is 9/16 x 34 in (14mm x 860 mm). I think it should be an inch or two longer. This belt drives nothing other than the AC.

THanks,
Bill

It took a good deal of strecthing(ended right about the same as the old belt) on my belt(the alt, crank, pwr steering) before it even looked the right tension and before I was thinking he gave me the AC belt. Is it a Dayco cause thats what I used.
