Drivers side Window Regulator

My regulator on the drivers side window broke and I am looking for a replacement. Found the one's on E-bay but I have heard horror stories about svx parts on ebay and getting ripped off.

Anyone have an extra one and willing to part with it?

Re: Drivers side Window Regulator

I actually don't need the sleeve lock I need the full pully system the cable runs on...one of the pully's broke.

Re: Drivers side Window Regulator

question of theory,if i had a spare window reg. laying around. took my door panel off, unplug the mounted regulator and plugged the "loose" one into the harness. Would it work even though it's not mounted? (For an operational check)

Re: Drivers side Window Regulator

As long as the cable is tight it should work. If the cable is loose it can jump off track on the hub at the motor and make a mess.

Re: Drivers side Window Regulator

Does anyone know where I can find a driver’s side front window regulator for my 1992 SVX or even the whole window/door? I have been looking on internet for days with no luck. I am trying to restore it and as you know, parts are hard to come by. Thanks for any info.

There are multiple parts cars in Pottsville.

He said he has 3 of them.
