Angry Brake light came on! :(

So I left my car in my girlfriend's driveway overnight last night because I went with her to NYC to do thanksgiving with her family. We got back to her plce about 30 mins ago and I got in to drive home.. The red brake light came on and stayed on when I started her up.. The ABS light has been coming on for a few months as a result of a broken front-right sensor, but the red light hasn't come on.

I tested out the brakes, and there's plenty of stopping power. I drove at about 20mph and pulled up a little bit on the handbrake to warm things up a bit back there.. no luck.. I checked the fluid.. a little bit below "full" but WELL above "low." Propped something against the brake pedal and got out to look at the lights.. they were all working fine.

All I can think is that something got frozen.. Any suggestions before I bring it into the shop Friday afternoon to have them diagnose it?

ABS I can live without, but when that red light is on, I take it seriously..

A... I'm sure you have seen this in the threads before. Just wiggle the reservoir float a little and/or add a little brake fluid. B...
