adjustable dampers

I was in the process of prepping the motor for a pull and i noticed that the front dampers appear to be adjustable.

I didn't see too much on line when I searched.

Should I assume these are Koni with eibach lowering springs?

Re: adjustable dampers

If you post a picture of them it will help.
Koni's strut bodies are yellow by the way.

Re: adjustable dampers

That's what I was thinking.

Hopefully I'll find a Gorilla wheel lug key soon.

Or see if your gorilla can turn it loose with his fingers alone.

Re: adjustable dampers

You can just go to a local shop and ask for a 6 spline lug key.

Re: adjustable dampers

Here in CT we aint got too many "local" tuner shops.

I can either buy the set, or order one online and wait.

Re: adjustable dampers

Your in CT, there are actually quite a few tuner shops...
Anyways, if you need a key for your wheels, you can try like a wheel place. I got a spare one from Town Fair Tire.
My key looks like this. Does yours need this kind of key?:

Re: adjustable dampers

I bought a set and used the key already.

Just another tool to add to the collection.

I may order the adjustment dials if I can find them.

Re: adjustable dampers

Got the car up on stands and took the wheels off today.

Koni Inserts in the modified housings with motorsport g-lateral drop springs.

I'll be pulling these tomorrow and updating the FS thread.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Re: adjustable dampers

What were you driving impressions of this setup? I currently have the koni/gc combo which is too rigid/harsh imo. Thanks
