The slim ballasts work out,
take walks,
but the Regular ballasts eat at McDonalds,
watches Opera,
has NO IDEA what a salad is......

Slimmer ballast are slimmer and easier to shove through thinner spaces.

Re: HID lights

The site said the slim has a regulator and the standard does not. My car has a regulator why would i need to regulate the power again .

Re: HID lights

What I found out . Both slim and regular work the same. The reg/ std. seem to be a little brighter than the slim . The slim take a few seconds longer to fire up and run hotter. The reg. seem to last longer if they don't rust. The reg. are harder to ground ( I don't understand that part ) slim are easier to find a place to attach ( obvious reason ) you may also need a bracket to mount the standard or reg. do this slim has mounting holes .

Re: HID lights

I would go with the slim. If they have some type of regulator in them that would be good. May help with low voltage at the stock sockets. I looked at the ddm site and did not see any where that ether one has a regulator. only "fused relay harness and controller that regulates the high / low operation" and that's just some relays.

Re: HID lights

Just tracked my package from DDM tuning , it left China yesterday. I thought I was buying from a Calf based company. Live and learn. Ordered it on Wed. Jan 12 . I heard about the slow boat from China before.
