what is the best spark plugs i should put in my 1996 svx

NGKs are very well liked. Best you can afford as they're not the easiest to put in. Not hard, just a little bit of time.

Same here. 40k miles and still strong.
Installed in spring '03.

And you can install the in NINE MINUTES! OK, inside joke. Expect two hours for 1-5, and 2 hours for #6, the first time. YMMV

my god i did mine las weekend....WHAT A PAIN IN THE A$$$
or maybe was it because i took a little longer than expected and ended with #6 using a simple head light to finish the job under the rain........couldn't help me either

The hardest part of changing the plugs in mine was getting the ##2@@$% boot from the coil off the plug.The thing was hard as a rock and I used a pick to get the pieces out. That was 20 min. alone. The rest was a snap.First time maybe one hour+/- I bought a couple of boots for spares.
