Widsheild Seal

Was cleaning off the snow today & noticed that the seal which acts as a rain gutter down the side of the windshield is getting wavy next to the glass. The edge which directs the water is just like new.

Would this just be cosmetic or could it lead to leakage? How difficult is replacement?

There was a TSB about this some time ago. The fix for Subaru was to pull the windshield and remove the molding and re-seal it with a 3m adhesive. Not easy, or cheap for that matter.
