Removed sunvisors = no AC/clock

Hey
My visors were drooping too much and in anticipation of doing the mod, i decided to take them out today. However, when i took them out, the wire came loose from the visor and broke off (out of the sunvisor). I took the white clips apart, but when i started it, no go with AC/clock (i think mirrors too). Radio, windows, dash, head, turn lights all work normal. I tried stuffing the wire back in, but that didn't help it and burned the ends that go into the sunvisor together.

I checked the fusebox and it looks normal. How can i fix this and does anybody have any idea what's wrong? I just ordered HID headlights from svxfiles, should i be concerned about this causing problems with the lights?

Thanks,

Re: Removed sunvisors = no AC/clock

This has been an interesting problem. If the wire breaks, and the wires are allowed to touch, lots of stuff will not work. I would suggest separating them and then fixing them so they won't touch. Everything should work again. Good luck.

Re: Removed sunvisors = no AC/clock

i haven't been able to try either of those fixes because the security system now goes off when i try to open the door. My remote doesn't work very well and only sometimes activates, so its hard to quiet it, is there any way i can disable the security system?
also, will the remote shut off the security system if the door is open?

also, the beeps aren't constant rhythm, is there something wrong?

Re: Removed sunvisors = no AC/clock

I'm in the same exact problem right now. I took out the ciggarate lighter fuse to stop the sunvisor cables from burning. Now I also have no, AC, radio, lighter or clock and im sure other things too. Something tells me somethings been rewired wrong in the past
Can someone please help me!! is this normal???
