My car has a poltergeist.

Sitting at a stop light, my idiot lights started randomly turning on and off.. what the hell? It was idling fine, no funny noises.. just ghosts.

Your alternator is giving up the ghost, its showing up at idle because you voltage is low and fluctuation, methinks.

Classic SVX
You should take it to an autozone or somewhere and have the alternator checked. Sounds like it is probably going.
Unfortunately they are kind of expensive too. I just had to get one for the teal.

my car likes to beep at night, not the alarm just like someone was sitting in the car playing with the horn. Did it last night, went out and the car was locked with the alarm still on

Try to look for a local alternator rebuild shop. When I was trouble shooting my car I found a place that could rebuild your alternator while you waited, and you keep the original housing. The cost was less than a rebuilt alternator.

These alternators tend to hide their defects from autozone until they entirely give up the ghost
