A/c and Clock not working,
O.k Well I got in my car today and started it up and look at the clock and its not working , then I try my A/C and its not working either. I checked the fuses and they look fine, any suggestions? I am very mad I let my mother use it to drive to the store and then I get in it and boom its broke. None of the buttons work, like the Auto or Vent none of them. even the outside temp does not work. Any help with this be great.

Twenty amp fuse number three in the fuse board, supplies both a clock and air conditioning circuit. This should be the first item to investigate.
Check both the fuse link and also that there is battery voltage at the fuse, with the ignition switch in the accessory and on positions.

(2) If the fuse proves to be OK, turn the ignition switch to ON or accessory. Apply a test lamp or volt meter to the fuse holder connections/socket and make sure that one of them supplies power/voltage.

Could also just throw an OHM meter on it... I think that's the easiest way.

Surely this accurately thrown instruction will continue confusing the issue with continuity.

Well, after following the very simple instructions, I replaced the fuse labeled something along the lines of Cig Lighter or something. The fuse was blown in it. I replaced it and turned the car on, the lights faded on but faded right out again. I checked the same fuse again and it was blown yet again. I replaced it again and had the same thing happen again. I really want my clock and Air back ; ;. What should be the next step? I replaced the same fuse 2x and it blew it 2x.

There must be a short in the wiring. I can't help anymore than that though

Did you put the right type of fuse back in?

ok you have a short in the wiring. This is kind of hard to do if you don't have the wiring diagram, but you can see if any of the loads on the circuit are causing the problem. Try unplugging your cigarette lighter first, then replace the fuse. turn the car on and see if the fuse still blows. If it still does try the Clock then the climate control unit and replace the fuse after unplugging each item. if it still ows then the problem is probably in the wiring which is a little harder to trace
