Price is relevant to those buying. When Mercedes sells that ugly SLR McLaren, and people buy it, this car looks that much better. I hate spending $20k on a car, which is 1/4 of my income. There are people who make well into 6 figure land, so a $100k Porsche is the same as me buying the Forester.

if its play money for the rich, i'm sure they don't care. someone may feel the guy who paid $36,000 for a new SVX back in the day got cheated as well - its all relative.

Wish i could hit the lottery, i'd sink enough money into my svx to make it a 2.5sec 60mph car, 100mph in 5 seconds, same specs as that car. THen i'd take it to the track and show those fools what real power is...

I'd just get the Porsche (Keeping my SVX in the garage). I will be the 'fool' waiting for you at the said track.
