what kind of transmission fo you want to run?? if it is a cable, I can whip you up some pedals and linkage in no time... I am waiting on some more X-members to get here and I can make a few more of them as well

Richard,
There is a list of things you'll need to do a cable type installation in my write up (link in my sig)

The Legacy's and Impreza's run the same trannys, but can have different final drives....and the Impreza rear diff won't work with the SVX LSD carrier, so the rear diff needs to come from a Legacy.

I've seen that and wondered about it. It seems convenient, but that which is to good to be true, probably is. That particular system i believe is the hydrolic driven clutch, something i think that the guys doing the 5mt swaps are staying away from, for reasons unknown to me, but they seem to know their ****, so i'd assume it's for a reason. People were saying legacy tranny's gears are weaker too, so if you slam it to hard to often, you might break a gear.

I can supply everything for a bolt in 5spd. No welding is necessary. the small car kit has been known to be junk because of their use of crappy quality products and their reluctant will to start behind their products.

I like the cable version for it's ease in installation.
The onle downside to the hydralic unit is the extra work of installing the hydralice clutch system, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, lines, and extra linkage to work the master cylinder.

With the cable version, it's just hook a cable to the peddal assembly, and hook the other end to the clutch fork..done

All the heavy duty transmissions are the Hydralic clutch types.

Richard, I definately recommend Tomsvx for the parts. Haven't even seen what he did for us yet but knowing Tom and his anal exacting tendancies I know they will be built better and stronger than they need to be. His pricing is well below what lesser set ups are. Not sure what Motorsports does though as Dalye usually does good stuff too.
