SVX on "Men & Motors" TONIGHT 21st Aug 9pm

According to Rob (groundeffectltd) on the svxclubuk site.

http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=33856

Can somebody record it and upload it? I would do it, but my satellite receiver has been dead since we had a power cut last week.

Is this a "History Channel" or "Speed" channel show?

Cool!!

Thanks for posting this guys. I've just watched it.

The SVX was lined up with one of those tarty Rover 25s with the butch kit for the taste-free brigade, and an extremely blue Renault Avantime 3 litre.

The idea was that all three were concept cars that made production but did not sell.

The SVX was a silver and black UK model. Whose was it? Is it Rob's current car? Or possibly it looked like Rolling Project's car? Very nice anyway.

I used to intensely dislike the Avantime, even though I am a member of the Matra Enthusiast's Club. I am affronted by the notion of them calling such a vehicle a coupe, when in fact it has the same general shape as a Transit van, but weighs more. However, I am beginning to see the rationale for them now, so I am warming to the notion of owning one.

I have it recorded on Sky +. I suppose there is a way to burn it to disk and transfer it to a computer, and thence email it or upload it or something. If someone tells me how to do it, I'll give it a go.

Joe

I've put it up on rapidshare,http://rapidshare.de/files/30817685/...r_Roadshow.mpg

A bit disappointing, it would have helped marginally if the presenter could pronounce "boxer" correctly.

It's about 40 megs, captured from the satellite datastream. If anybody wants to compress/process and host elsewhere, then feel free to do so.

Anybody managed to download this? I've tried Firefox, Opera and IE.

It counts down 78 seconds, then offers me a choice of three servers. I enter the captcha, click the button and then it says "Download session invalid".

If you've entered the authentication anti-'bot image code correctly, it should work. You aren't trying to use a download accelerator are you?

I just watched it. I chose the bottom option when I got that choice of 3...

A short but nice segment. They had good things to say about it. I didn't realise that you got 4WS in the UK?? Is it a members car??

It's funny that she starts on the Pontiac by laughing and saying that "This is a joke of a car"

I downloaded it and then lost it. It won't let me do it again unless I pay. Oh well.

I'm assured by Joe that it doesn't have AWS if it's a UK car. Imports only

Cheers Guys
