No power in lower RPM range
So I just completed my trans swap, ground wire cleaning, new battery, etc and now my SVX has no power under 2000 rpm. It idles fine and such until you get into the gas and it just lags until you get above the 2000 rpm mark. What do you guys think? Thanks Damian

What do you mean it lags? My power doesn't even come on until 1500, and that's at a very light touch of the throttle. Anything more than a light touch and it jumps to 2k and above, so that sounds kind of strange to me.
What degrees of throttle are you experiencing this power loss?

Do you think it's engine related or trans related? Is it just that your car doesn't move until 2000 and then jumps like a rocket or does it run like crap until 2000 rpm?

It just feels down on power.I didnt have this until the intermittent "x-mas"light problem. Ive cleaned all the ground points and I dont think its trans related. It seems like its not getting enough spark or timing but until it gets up to speed its fine

I'm willing to bet it's an injector. I had a similar problem that I ignored for a while. Until one cylinder stopped firing (because of dead injector) and made the engine shake. The only way to figure out which one was by running the engine while unplugging one injector at a time.
