Just got '92 SVX and need tranny cooler advice
I got a '92 SVX Pearl White last Thursday. 103K miles and one of the first things I need to do is install a tranny cooler. I have some prospects and I would like you to let me know what you think:

The filter kit is correct.
Not sure all of those coolers will fit - I have the perma cool # 12511 with fan in my fenderwell. It fits fine. Those look like nice coolers. As long as the dimensions are right and you can fit it then any of them should work. Try to get the biggest one that will fit.

I am having trouble seeing where that is mounted. Yes, in the wheel well, but do you have a pic that shows the relationship to where it is at?

ATF Cooler position.
Matt the way you have fitted the cooler, would have to be the best position for it. It ensures effective cooling, while preventing the ATF heat from being feed back into the Air Con/engine, heat exchanges.
A bit harder to set up, but for areas of high ambient heat, it will keep the trans cooler, the Air con working cooler, and the motor staying cooler.  Harvey.
