Chlorine in the avian gene pool

I never understood what was the deal with birds trying to be daredevils in traffic. Everyday it happens. Some bird-brained bird will shoot over my hood.

Well, today I didn't have much of a hood because I was driving one of these.

Some kind of yellow bird goes "thud" on the windsheild at 60mph.
Dumb animal.

A seagull went for it as well a little down the ways but when it realized I was much bigger than he, it turned around.
Smart animal.

So far that puts the score at
birds - 0
me - 2

If anyone knows how to override the speed limiter on my truck that would be mucho useful to me. ;D
Yesterday I could not stop bouncing of the thing (75mph).
If it were raised to 80 that would be
fantastic.

-roads +highway.

Like it or not most linehaulers pull 80-85 whenever conditions let them.

Alaskan ones, anyhow. Loooots of space to cover in little time.

Me, I was just trying to keep up with traffic. This truck is very stable at highway speeds and feels really at place doing about 75. It pulls the same rpms/mph as the SVX (up until 4500).

It was kinda frusterating coasting downhill, hitting 75, then having the fuel shut off and bring me back down to 70.

Passing tourists is a PITA as well.
