difference bween nEW radiator and old one

Is there any way to tell just by looking, between the new and improved radiator and the old 92 radiator(the one that clogs with the mesh in the stock cooler)

Hmmm, I don't think unless you're talking used radiators you'd be able to find an early model radiator. The numbers superceded to the new radiator AFAIK. But to my knowldge they looked the same externally, it was just the innards that got changed.

The reson I am asking is because I "seem" (not 100% sure) to remember the former owner saying she replaced the radiator when she replaced the power steering pump and tranny at 40k,.... But I dont have access to the papers she gave me (a while back)

Thus I dont know if I have the good updated radiator that doesnt clog,

Or I have one that does, which is in dire need of a parallel tranny cooler.
