Hi Seraph,

Thanks for ur advice, actually thts a good idea too. But by now i have ran my wires thru center console and there is no problem in them. I think u r expert in aftermarket stereo installation, if u could please help me in reducing my alternator whining sound coming from my speakers.

Thanks,
Pavan.

Depends where you go. Probably anywhere between $40 and $80.

No, the mod simply adds the capability for current to flow with less voltage drop.

If you have "alternator whine" with the key on, but engine NOT running, then it isn't alternatore whine - you have a different kind of signal issue, most likely still a grounding issue. Try running a long strand of wire from the stereo head unit, equalizer and amp all to one single place - no need to make it look good, this is just a test to see if the sound goes away.

Yeah i am getting tht whistling sound even when the engine is not running but just by turning on the key. This sound is increasing when i give acceleration. Ok i will try to do wht u told and let u know.

One more uestion i have posted it on 'General SVX babble', i have bought recently side marker lights, but i dont know how to install/fix them. I have read the thread on this issue, but want to know a detailed procedure of installin it.

If u can please give me suggestions on installin them

THanks,
Pavan.
