Its off to Vegas again, time for SEMA Week!

cant wait, this is my 14th yr at Sema
and every year its bigger and better.
Taking 4 days this yr to really see it all, along
with vid camera, digital camera, disc, batteries etc....
This will hopefully be my best documented yr.
Damn, I may make some copies of the vid I take while
Im there and sell them off cheap.
Anyway, if anyone emails me next week, I wont be checking
my mail till next Sat after this Monday nite.

ghost bar, rio buffet, a few partys held by some manufacturers, monorail trip around
the city, and hit a few rollercoasters is part of the plan

maybe some blackjack

You must visit Stratosphere. The S&S launch tower at the top is one of the scariest rides in the world. As for the NYNY coaster...it's kinda painful. Not alot of fun, but does offer a unique view. "Speed" at the NASCAR cafe looked cool, but I didn't get to ride it.

Get some pics of the GM display for me! They have some wicked stuff this year. The 2005 Grand Prix GXP (300hp), the G6 GTP (275hp), the upgraded Cobalt SS (240hp), even more ridiculously overboard hummers, a performance diesel pickup...umm...that's all I can think of but I really want to see this stuff!

what a trip

it just keeps getting larger and larger....
Spent 2 full days walking the show, what a blast.
LOTS of cool new stuff coming out too.
While walking around our hotel (the Bellagio) Tues
nite we ran into the chick Courtney from the TV show
Overahaulin. Talked for a bit and she invited us to come
down the set they had set up at the show to meet rest
of the crew. (all week they were taping an upcoming
episode in Dec, its a really clean 70 Mustang Fastback)
The next day we went down and saw her, she introduced
us to Chris the host but Chip Foose wasnt there, at the time
We waited for a bit but nothing. So we went to look at more
of the show....this is the good part.
While walking to another part of the building, this guy comes
wizzing thru and trips right over my small carry on bag on wheels behind me. I look up and Im face to face with "the Mr Chip Foose" himself
He was soooooo cool, he was off after a quick chat and an
autograph. Got part of it on video too. It was the highlite of my
week thats for sure.
On top of it all I got about 2.5 hours on video, Chicks, cars and more stuff

Looks like fun. I should go to these kind of things more. It's kind of a different mentality when you live here. I don't like dealing with the traffic.

I never miss the COMDEX or CES conventions though. They both automatically send me badges every year.

They guy who is building me a new diff (for my other car) was at SEMA all week. No wonder he is behind schedule.

One of these years I may just have to go for some laughs...and blackjack...and Tera Patrick.
