now we're talking! i am still stuck in the 80s most times and U2 is one of my favourites. i was fortunate to be at their most famous shows back in 1983 when i was 13.

nice - i like Slayer, Pantera, Fear Factory, and Slipknot, too! also Ozzy, Shadow's Fall, Yngwie Malmsteen, Machinehead, Testament, Entombed, etc.

in addition to the heavy stuff, i listen to classical (Bach, Paganini are my favs), the blues, and a tiny amount of rap (Beastie Boys, and some Dr. Dre is about all i like for some reason?)

HARDCORE!!!!

and when i say hardcore i mean the genre....i like stuff from emo/ screamo (not to much only thrice, glassjaw, thrusday ect) some heavier stuff like "metalcore" "hardcore" stuff like Every Time I Die, As I Lay Dying, pretty much anything with a breakdown that you can dance to (hardcore dancing) not tango and what not....the rest of the bands are stuff youve never heard of like at all cost, scars of tomorrow, folsom, all that remains, comeback kid, these are all pretty much local if not south united states bands......if i could relate any of this music to anything youve heard of it would prolly be Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, stuff like that....

hmmmm... any trance fans?

I prefer vocal trance. I pretty much like all the related genres as well (techno/club/house/etc.) I also like J-Pop and J-Trance.

I've never really liked much mainstream music...

I've seen all but one Yes concert in Atlanta since... since...
1972. Sheesh... Most recently, this past spring.

Random trivia: The first time the Eagles played Atlanta, they opened for Yes.
