Hello from Subaru High Performance Product Training

Well, I'm now half way through my Subaru Product training on the new Models. I've just retired to my hotel room. Today we focused on the WRX STi. Tomorrow we have more STi stuff, and Baja Turbo and Forester Turbo stuff.

I must say SOA has really done a great job with these training things. I'm very impressed with the level of detail that subaru has gone to in order to have us learn as much as we can about the cars. We got professional high performance driving instruction today on the STi's, and took them for runs around a road course and everything.

I've been snapping more pictures than my camera can handle. I've attached a hilight.

Earl is turning green as well. I started to twitch when I opened up the pic. What a job = But someone has to do it right?

Try to have fun and learn as much as you can Mike.

I'll fill in for Mike here...

He's the parts guy at Kerven Subaru in Butler, PA. The busiest Suby dealer in the country.

I spoke with you on the phone when you called the other day.

This weekend will get me my STi Sales Certification, and I will be moving into that field as well. As if I dont have enough work already!

Well, it's back to the track for me.

Mike

You Bloody Bastard........... How the F*** did you get a job like that???? When I opened that picture I felt my stomach tie up as I counted 5 STi's !!!! That's just wrong Mike, you shouldn't go posting about that kind of stuff here... Some of us have jobs that we hate and I would KILL to have a job that I could drive STi's, and get paid!!! Whatever though, Someone has to protect your ass while you go and have fun, I guess that is the businuess that I am in........ But it's ok, because I got to ride in an R33 Skyline while I was in Australia so HA!!!

the worst about the training that he's at is is that those sti's will be chopped up and destroyed completely afterward, there's provbably more than 5 sti's there, and as many forrester 2.5t's and baja 2.5t's

Sad day

Yes...it's a sad day when test/training cars are destroyed. Not too long ago, Nissan destroyed a yellow Skyline GT-R34 that they had used for development work. They destroy lots of test vehicles every year for liability reasons .

I don't care if Subaru says it's STI...it will always be STi to me

That's alright thought about that Skyline though... It's just a GT-S not a GTR... Still kinda sad though ..... Mike, do ya think that ya can get one of thouse 2.5 Turbo engines for Porter for the 500hp SVX Project that he is gonna be working on??? Also reserve one for Noir... He wants to do the same thing to his new SVX (that he hasn't bought yet...)...
