need help replacing rear pads/rotor

The right rear pad wore down and scored rotor before I could replace it because of the snow/cold temp. I need to use my driveway and it was covered w/ice-snow. Near 50 degrees today so today was the day. I got the caliper out of the way and removed the rotor (not too difficult) but having difficulty w/pads. The outer pad was so worn it fell out of the caliper but I'm having a problem removing the clips and the inner pad. I need some advice/instructions so I don't damage the clips. Help!

Re: need help replacing rear pads/rotor

Soak it down with oil near the clips and then pry it out of the slot. If you mess them up rockauto sells then for under $10.

Re: need help replacing rear pads/rotor

thanks,I'll soak t now and try after lunch. Rockauto is a good source but I want to drive it sooner than later. But your right,in that clips shouldn't be that expensive. It's Sunday and most local auto stores are closed but there are a few that are open if I need to replace it.
