converter gaskets for a 97

here are the gaskets for main cat for obd2 96-97s
44022aa251 X 2 and 44022pa031 X 1

That's incorrect.The 97 has a different cat compared to all other years. It is a normal flange gasket at the front. I'll have to find the one I have and give you the part number as they are completely unable to look it up and find it anywhere.

Edit:before I checked my part numbers, I assumed it was giving you the donut gaskets based off your quantities

the only part number I see that would work for the front of the main catalytic converter are
is the 44022AA251 says quantity 2
my parts are on there way from subaruparts.com so if you can find the right part number soon I only have a 30 days to return the gaskets.

Part number is 44022AA251 and you will only need one

Peak under your car to confirm the cat was never replaced and still is the proper one. Meaning, it is still the flange style and not for some reason the type that uses donut gaskets and spring bolt assemblies.

I am sure everything is original but what are you saying? do I need that part or not what flange gasket do you mean doughnut gasket
