How can you tell if the Subaru’s mileage is not correct?
I just purchased a Subaru 2002 from a reputable dealership. The car had 23k miles on it, the tires were not the original..they are Cooper tires ...this threw up a flag but...any way to tell if the mileage has been tampered with? I know the odometer could be correct by a tool calledDP3 Digiprog3 Odometer Correction .Any other tools

The stock tires on that era of Subie were terrible. I forget the model offhand, RE92? Some smart owner probably replaced them right away. I wouldn't worry.

I doubt someone would go through that much trouble and spend 1,500 to adjust the odometer by 30,000 or so miles. Seems low but it is possible.
