Looks to me like the heater core sprung a leak and the owner never noticed the wet carpet until it was far too late (frying the ABS unit and destroying the carpet).

Some of the Japanese guys can translate for us I hope.
It looks like it had a leak under the dash. It could be coolant from the heater core, or maybe it is oil, hard to say. Towards the end he seems to have had to replace the ABS computer because fluid got inside and burned out the circuit board. Judging by the cost of this it would be useful to know what caused it so we can avoid it.
