Good deal?

Hi all.

I am looking for either an svx parts car, or a complete motor setup for my swap.

I am going to be swapping the eg33 into my 98 Impreza RS.

This is closer then any other I have seen.

I could also hopefully talk them down quite a bit.

Any guesses on why it wont turn over? I wish It had a bad tranny instead, but oh well.

There are exactly 1 zillion reasons for an engine to not turn over. The fact he stated that the engine has been rebuilt prior to 90k is suspect.... ask for receipts. Also make sure it even cranks to make sure its not seized. You may want to try buying an engine from ebay and just getting the harness n hardware from a salvage.

I test drove this one a couple weeks ago. Its beat up and the engine smokes a bit but if you're going to use it for a swap it would work okay with some new seals methinks. I know the girl that is selling it is willing to make a deal on it. I was thinking about buying it but I needed a DD and I ended up finding one in much better shape.

Yah, it will be for a swap, I dont need the tranny or and body peices, just what is under the hood.
