Cars currently for sale
I have a mate who's interested in potentially getting an SVX. It's up against a Porsche 928 as a bit of a weekend toy to tinker with.
Does anybody have any views about the ones currently available please? Have any of you looked at any of them? I've convinced him that he's chasing a 1994 or later. Thanks, Matt

the grey one on ebay in brisbane has 260,000 kms, its got a alloy radiator it seemed to run ok although noisy tappets at the time for a small fee i could go and check the low milage red one in kenmore thats on carsales

To resurrect this thread - if anyone has looked at the current cars for sale and has a report, please post it.
I may also be in the market for a new SVX. I'm exploring my options when I get back.

Test drove the Red one that's available in Canberra. I quite liked it personally. Drives well. It has been resprayed for some reason, and the quality of the job isn't great...couple of anomalies in the paint.
Interior is in good condition...front foglights don't work, but have been cut into the bar, so you couldn't really remove them. THere's apparently an electrical fault where it stops randomly. Didn't do it on the test drive, but perhaps is related to the alarm. Has a great stereo...good Sony head unit, with quality speakers all through. Tyres 90%...QLD rego with SVX95 plates transferrable. Everything works in side...all switches, windows, climate control etc. I'd rate it. I'd buy it too, but the price is high. Matt
