help me pick out some rims ?

alright the time has come for me put a new set of rims and tires on the car, im torn between 3 diffrent ones, my dream wheels would be some nice 3 piece rims like volks or racing harts

these seem like the best deal and of course chrome always looks good on white cars

all 3 wheels are abought the same price but they are diffrent

the wheels will be 19+8.5 all the way around with 235/35/19s i might end up going 235/25/19s in the front bcause its where i have the most fender space issues,

my current set up is 18+8"s all the way round, it i go up 1/2 inch i should will be in the clear, im looking at ether a 40mm or 35 mm offset

well here goes please tell me which ones would look best on a svx

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=130244507389

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=120291198077

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=130244467756

the main reason there so cheap is that they are a no-namer brand of wheel my current axxis wheels are name brand are expensive

thanks for the input

Re: help me pick out some rims ?

These are the coolest wheels available, in my opinion.

They are 19's and they make your rear tire look larger than the front like high performance rear drive cars look.

They are the Axis Decades with the Maxxis lip.

The Maxxis lip goes on the rear 2. And the none Maxxis lip goes on the 2 fronts.

http://axiswheels.com/wheels.php?id=decade

A guy on this forum has them but I acnnot recall his name.

Re: help me pick out some rims ?

LOL as soon as i decide and get them shiped, there all yours

the ones i really liked were the g-games 99b wheels but i found out they are not producing them any more and it would be hard to find

these are a cheaper option for me

Re: help me pick out some rims ?

These guys promised me $1700 for wheels, tires, balnace, delivery.

The tires were 80 tires though.

Re: help me pick out some rims ?

I'm not really a fan of any of those. I'm not into the rivet look or chrome for that matter.

But, if its your taste, go for it I suppose.

Hmmmm...Do you mean you're thinking of running the 35 profile in the rear and 25 in the front, or 25 on all 4 corners? Cause I really hope you're not going to run different height tires. The difference between those sizes is nearly 2 inches. The 25's will look bad, because the wheel wells will be empty, and your trans will detonate in about 10 miles on the highway.

On a 19x8.5" rim I would strongly recommend a 245/30/19 tire. It's the closest to your original diameter, and would fit a rim that width very well. 235/30/19 would be the next best choice, followed by 235/35.

As for offset, if you go with a +35, I can gaurantee problems. The rears are going to rub badly. Even +40 might be pushing it. Something in the 45-50 range would be best. The SVX is fairly lenient when it comes to offset, but you're talking about going to a 1" wider rim than stock, and then pulling it out nearly an inch. That's a bit much.

crazy thanks for the great input, im running the same size diamater all the way around ether a 35 or 30 series tires and probably a 235 or 225 wide tires

im curently running a 40mm offset set up, they are 18+8 some of the wheels i been looking at has a 38mm offset which i think i will be fine i will see if they offer something like a 45mm offset

18+8 40mm offsets work fine but you do have to roll the front fenders the rear there is still plenty of space and never needed to roll the fenders

sorry green =< if this guy fall through you will be the 2nd to know LOL

by the was i saw your video somewhere whene can i get a autograph !! LOL

crazy they have ether a 38mm or 45mm offset for the rims im looking at, which one should i go with

im curently running 40mm offset

i would like to have the rims tucked in as much as posible

as for tires can i run a 245 for the rear and a 235 with a 35 series tire since fronts are were the most rubbing would occur

those are my dream wheels

http://workwheelsusa.com/product.php...ry=26&wheel=75

those one look dead sexy on a pearl svx but at 600.00 a piece !!! your looking at 2,400 for rims only plus 600 for tires 3,000 $ for a set of rim and tires, probably half the cost of a used svx !!

i would love to see them on a svx =>

i still can use a pointer on what offset to get on those stern wheels, ether 38mm or 45mm offset
