Suspension struts

Just wondering if anyone has some used struts both front and rears (still complete but no necessarily working) that have been removed from their cars that I can use to take some measurements.

(Hoping Matt or Tony kept theirs when they done upgrades)

I'll ask The Skipper if he still has the ones at his place that I got ages ago. IIRC there was some damage of some description, but I don't remember what. I'll get in touch with him and let you know if he's ale to dig them up, and you can organise a time to pop round to his place and take a look.

I have both front and rear, I want to keep them but happy to measure them for you.

1995 - SVX 700,000 K Mine, DMS Struts to lift car 2in. Tyres Wrangler Silent Armor 235/70R16, PBR Radiator. 6 speed with DCCD and R180 rer diff, Heavy duty top strut mounts front and rear. Speedo correction box fitted. New stero (gave up on the old one). Back seat removed and 2 spare tyres fitted for desert driving. ECUTune SC sitting in the box for the next SVX.
1992 - SVX 255 K Wife (Want to stay Married so not allowed to fit SC)
1992 - SVX Pearl with black roof race car roll cauge etc ready to race. Ex Tasman Targa car.
1995 - SVX Green low k mint condiation.
1995 - SVX Rally car, ex Matts car. Now to be used on track.
1992 - SVX red & Black being converted to Mid Engine.
1995 - SVX Red 143,000 bit rough.
Owned 5 others Subaru back to a 1974 1400 GSR.

have contacted Tein and looking at a price to get some new struts made, either

i just bought a set of sti adjustable coil overs from japan for $900au which are made by tien but badged sti and they're pink, i hate the green

I've done a bunch of comparison measurements between STi struts (I used a V7 set) and SVX struts to see how swap-able they are. Long story short, it's do-able, but requires a lot of work. (machining of the knuckles, drilling holes in your SVX shock towers, custom front swaybar endlinks and brackets to connect to the control arm...)

Good luck with that, the ball joint is completely different and the knuckle won't attach to your lower control arm.
