need tires
I'm gonna need to replace my rubber soon anyone have any suggestions on brands and types? My driving style is pretty laid back no agressive driving here and i would be looking for an all season just in case (god forbid) i had to drive it in snow. Thanx for any help

I have some Contenental Conti extreems and they are the best I have seen for that price. There are around 6 members here that have them and love them. All season, and quiet. Good luck.

I had the Conti Extremes and I think they are great no actually the best in the SNOW. I wore them out after about 60k miles or so. I had some alignment and pothole issues.
Now I have the FALKEN tires and they are great but not as good as Cx in the snow. The Cx take on a cold set when sitting overnight and the Falken is much better in this regard. Cold set is no big deal really it will go away in few miles. I only paid about $68 each for the Cx and would have bought them again but the price went way up. They are a great all session tire, great in the rain, easy to drive 45mph in 6" of snow not the best for track racing but good enough for everyday. The Falkens are supposed to be better dry but how would most of us know? If we don't push them when it's dry....... Take care, John
