ok, my dash vents started working last week, and this week they no longer work cold air still comes out of the floor vents, and if I hit the defrost button, cold air comes out of there. it was 85 out today, and I had it set at 65...any one have any ideas on this, and how i might go about fixing it

Sounds like the servo for the dash vents is getting weak. Try lubricating the shaft on the servo. It may buy you some time. The servo and shaft are under the dash on the driver's side. As you look up from the footwell, it's parallel to the drivers side of the center console. Sounds confusing, but, it's late and 'm addled and that's the best I can explain it at the moment.

I'm partial to the cherry, personally. I can't seem to find the part as a component in the parts catalogue. Anyone else?
